How to use the Argument Mapping Tool<\/a>:<\/h4>\n

      1. Open the Tool:<\/strong>\u00a0Click on the link above to open it in your web browser.<\/li>\n
      2. Add Your Title:<\/strong> Type the topic or question at the very top where it says “Untitled Argument Diagram.”<\/li>\n
      3. Create Boxes:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Click\u00a0+ Argument Box<\/strong> to add a claim, premise, or evidence.<\/li>\n
        • Click\u00a0+ Add Reference \/ Note<\/strong> to add citations or bibliography.<\/li>\n
        • Note:<\/em>\u00a0To move a box, click and drag the\u00a0Grey Header<\/strong> bar. To type, click inside the white box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Connect Your Ideas:<\/strong>\n

          • Click a Link button (e.g.,\u00a0Link: Support<\/em>).<\/li>\n
          • Step 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Click the\u00a0Reason<\/em> (the starting box).<\/li>\n
          • Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Click the\u00a0Conclusion<\/em> (the target box).<\/li>\n
          • Tip:<\/em>\u00a0Green<\/span> = Supports; Red<\/span> = Opposes; Blue<\/span> = Assumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Save Your Work:<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • To Submit\/Edit Later:<\/strong>\u00a0Click\u00a0Save File<\/em>. This downloads a file to your computer. Keep this safe! You can load it back in later using the “Load File” button.<\/li>\n
          • To Print:<\/strong>\u00a0Click\u00a0Save as PDF<\/em>\u00a0to generate a printable version.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
